FOUNDER

Mark

Starting his career in Singapore, Mark rose to a senior position in a leading agency before venturing out on his own in 2003. His early projects included groundbreaking initiatives for global brands like Heineken in Singapore and McDonald’s in SE Asia, as well as emerging players like uMobile in Malaysia.

Mark’s unique ability to contextualize research findings within broader societal trends has been instrumental in delivering impactful and actionable insights. After relocating to Perth in 2012, he took a break to explore other interests, including F&B, small business mentoring, and teaching.

With the number of research techniques and technologies available today, he noted the confusion they can create. Add the rising number of products and services ending up in the wasteland of innovation, he sought to answer the question “what is the role of research.” This led to the development of idealog’s 5-step process to effective research, one that inspires creativity to deliver what people truly need.

Now, idealog is on the cusp of launching an AI-powered platform to further revolutionize the industry. This cutting-edge technology will empower businesses to craft precise research briefs and unlock deeper insights.
